Thursday, January 26, 2023 18:00-19:30, Club meetings, Luntmakargatan 68, 11351 Stockholm, Sweden
Speaker(s):

Oskar Andermo

When meeting, a Japanese person would bow, a Lebanese would kiss three times, and a British person would shake hands.   What if you would bow to the Brit, shake the hand of the Lebanese and kiss the Japanese? How would they react? These are cultural differences that we can fairly easily spot. However, there are more layers to national culture and many times, we cannot see them. In a fun and engaging way, we will go through the cultural values from the participants countries.

Oskar combines research with his own experience. He grew up with two cultures, has lived in 7 countries, travelled to more than 50 and interacted with more than 150 different nationalities. His keynotes are filled with fun stories of cultural miscommunications.
